Happy International Workers’ Day

Every year on May 1st, people across the globe unite to celebrate International Workers’ Day—a tribute to the achievements, sacrifices, and unbreakable spirit of the world’s labor force. Commonly known as May Day or Labor Day in different regions, this occasion honors the progress won by collective action and reminds us that fair wages, reasonable hours, and safe working conditions are neither accidental nor guaranteed; they are the fruits of persistent advocacy and solidarity.

The origins of International Workers’ Day trace back to the late 1800s, when industrialization reshaped economies and social structures.
